Valentine’s Day Style Picks That Got Our Heart Pumping

Valentine’s Day Style Picks That Got Our Heart Pumping
February 6, 2015 Nina Ferreyra

There isn’t a holiday where cliché-ism is unequivocally permitted and embraced quite like Valentine’s Day. Duh! Of course, we know Valentine’s Day isn’t a holiday – girls can dream right? Right. But we digress.

Here at 707AVE, we like to consider la Fête des Amoureux a legitimate chance to incorporate a sweet and yet subtle flair of romance to our outfit. And because it’s less than a week away, we went ahead and carefully selected a few options; from mega glam’ night to an evening spent wine tasting – these pieces are sure to inspire you to shine bright like a heart candy this Valentine’s Day!

It’s nearly impossible not to picture the stylish First Lady Michelle Obama or the elegant Kate Middleton opting for this delicate ensemble for a candle light dinner with their presidential/royal beaux!

You’ll give new meaning to the expression Lady in Red in this crisp Roland Mouret jumpsuit. We love adding contrasting pieces such as a black leather jacket with a pair of black ankle-wrapped stiletto heels for an equal balance of edginess and grace.

Our 3 rules to dressing up for movie night on VDay: 1. Comfortable. 2. Casual chic. 3. Classy. Rather than sporting your regular basic tee, think outside the chocolate box by opting for a playful top, like this ruffle silk blouse, over black denim. And because Valentine’s Day should be about impressing yourself first, layer with a sleeveless blazer and stand out while in line for le popcorn-à-deux!
