Pamela Romo is the owner and founder of The Juliet Blog and The Juliet Store. After working for two years at Vogue Magazine she started to fulfill her dreams as a blogger and fashion curator. You can follow Pamela Romo on Instagram @thejulietblog and twitter @thejulietblog.
When did you start your blog?
I started my blog while I was working in Vogue. I felt like I had too much creativity and since I lived and breathed fashion it was perfect timing. After I quit Vogue, I moved to LA in 2014 and decided to make a living out of it and it’s been that way ever since. I am now a Fashion Blogger and a Vintage Curator whenever my 11 old month baby is taking her naps or sleeping 🙂
What made you decide you wanted to go into fashion blogging?
I went into blogging because I was in desperate need for writing my thoughts and what I felt. Not only in fashion but anything in life.
What is your favorite & least favorite thing about blogging?
My favorite thing about blogging is being able to meet new people and writing about the things I believe in. My least favorite thing about blogging is that some people think this is a hobby, which it is not!
Where do you go to find inspiration for your blog?
I find inspiration for my blog from traveling, looking at other magazines and music. I’m in love with music from the eighties. I grew up with it. My mom loves glam rock so Deff Leppard and Bon Jovi were regulars in my childhood. It was obvious I would end up feeling inspired by that decade. What I love about that music is its energy. I love driving in my car listening to ‘Hysteria’ from Deff Leppard and singing it as loud as it can. My favorite songs are ‘Hysteria’ from Deff Leppard, ‘Love Bites’ from Deff Leppard, ‘November Rain’ from Guns n Roses and ‘Stranged’ from Guns n Roses. I haven’t felt what I feel when I’m listening to these songs.
Tell us about your new store:
I launched my new store because of my love to vintage clothing. It all started back in 2010 when I lived in Paris and I was in this phase in my life where I would only wear black. I entered a thrift store and saw a black leather jacket and it was love at first sight.

What are some tips / words of wisdom for those aspiring to start a fashion blog:
